The Witcher 3 Getting New Game Plus for Free

CD Projekt Red just knows how to do things properly.

While it won't have any free DLC for The Witcher 3 this week, the developer has announced that the final free DLC for the game will be New Game Plus. (Most games should get a New Game Plus, really, free DLC or not.)

To what extent this New Game Plus will impact the game is unclear, especially in terms of what items, levels, or map exploration will be carried over into the next playthrough.

So far, The Witcher 3 has had multiple pieces of free DLC including horse armor, costumes, finishing moves, and others. Its paid expansions, including Hearts of Stone, will make a comeback from The Witcher 1.
