Warcraft Film Posters Debut Lothar and Durotan at San Diego Comic-Con

In less than a year the long-awaited Warcraft film will be in theaters. Although its release is in the distant future, Legendary Pictures announced this week that it's nearing the end of production; all filming has concluded and post-production is only a couple months from wrapping up. With this, they've been able to share some new material at San Diego Comic-Con.

The Warcraft film features a variety of well-known characters from the IP, although two will be most prominent in the story. Lothar, played by Travis Fimmel, and Durotan, played by Toby Kebbel, will face a life-changing event that will decide the fate of their families. The film will focus on the emotional struggle of these two as they battle for survival.

Today, Legendary Pictures revealed two posters for the film, each showcasing the on-screen look of Lothar and Durotan. They can be seen below.

Lothar (Travis Fimmel)

Durotan (Toby Kebbel)

Many are impressed by the art of Lothar, but have shared that Durotan looks a big strange. The mixture of real actors and CGI has resulted in the Orcs appearing a bit more human than they do in the fantasy universe. Nonetheless, the response from those who saw an early sneak peek of a Durotan scene at BlizzCon 2014 was remarkably positive. Hopefully this odd appearance won't translate similarly into the film.
