Activision has announced Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition and will be showcasing this shadowy SKU at San Diego Comic-Con 2015.
The $99.99 Starter Pack for the Dark Edition on Wii U comes packaged with the Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and Dark Clown Cruiser sky vehicle, the Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Dark Barrel Blaster land vehicle, and the Dark Stealth Elf. The standard Starter Pack on other consoles includes Dark Spitfire, Dark Hot Streak, a Kaos Trophy to unlock Kaos gameplay content, and a double-sided collector poster.
Also, an important note: the Dark Edition Starter Pack for Wii U will exclusively have the Dark Turbo Charge and Dark Barrel Blaster, and the Starter Pack for other consoles will exclusively have Dark Super Shot Stealth Elf and Dark Sea Shadow. The Wii version of the game will have an exclusive adventure featuring Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and Dark Clown Cruiser.
Comic-Con attendees can pre-order the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition Starter Pack at Booth #121 on the show floor and the Xbox Lounge in the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Or if you're in North America, you can pre-order the Dark Edition at various major retailers.
