Microsoft Unveils Comic-Con Plans

Comic-Con may have comic in the title, but video games also have a large presence at the annual convention. That includes Microsoft, and the company announced its plans for SDCC 2015.

There will be quite a few playable Xbox One games at this year's Comic-Con. The Xbox lounge is open Thursday through Sunday, and it features titles like Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Forza Motorsport 6, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.

Other special events include a Halo 5: Guardians arena in which teams participate in a "real-life re-creation" of the Breakout mode, and the first public hands-on appearance of the Warzone mode from the E3 presentation.

Microsoft also plans to include quite a few panels in its SDCC 2015 lineup. Some notable ones include a chat with Rare about past and future projects, a panel on the remaster process for Gears of War, and one that details Lara Croft's journey through video games and the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Full details on the Microsoft panels can be found on the official Comic-Con website. The event takes place in San Diego on July 9-12. Be sure to check back with GameRevolution for more Comic-Con coverage in the next few weeks.
