New 2D Fighter Nitroplus Blasterz Rockets Onto PS4 (Um… Oh and PS3)

At the end of April, Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroine Infinite Duel arrived in Japanese arcades. Marvelous has now confirmed via an official Japanese website launch that it’s also bound for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Set for a winter release in Japan, XSeed games has already jumped in and confirmed a North American localization is planned within the same season. That's a pretty quick turnaround.

The 2D fighter will feature a cameo by Homura from Senran Kagura. Players on both systems can enjoy online multiplayer, even against players on the other console.

The arcade version is not likely coming to North America, because arcades are pretty dead there.
