Sony Bringing E3 Conference to Movie Theatres

The Electronic Entertainment Expo may be a trade event in theory, but clearly many involved are trying to make it more accessible to the gamers themselves. That's why the team behind the PlayStation “E3 Experience” press conference are taking their act to the silver screen.

According to their PlayStation blog, the conference will screen live on Monday, June 15th in “at least one participating theater in every state across the US – including Hawaii and Alaska – plus 3 cities in Canada.” The screening will also include bonus post-show material hosted by gaming personality Geoff Keighley.

Those who want to watch at their local participating movie theatre need to register at playstation.com/e3experience; although tickets are free, 80% of available seating will be reserved for ticket holders, with only 20% coming from a wait list.
