Need for Speed Reveal Coming This Week

Electronic Arts plans to reveal the next entry in the Need for Speed series later this week.

The news comes from an image on the Need for Speed Facebook page. Apparently fans will be able to "see the first look at the return of NFS" on May 21. The accompanying link to the official YouTube page hints at the possibility of an announcement trailer.

There was no Need for Speed game in 2014, a first for the series in over a decade. The last entry in the racing franchise was Need for Speed Rivals in Fall 2013 for the launch of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A closer look at the Facebook image shows the kind of vehicles that would make an appearance in the Need for Speed Underground series. In any event, we'll know more details later this week when EA officially reveals the game.
