Tell GameRevolution: Console or Handheld Gaming?

Console and handheld gaming offer two very different types of experiences, and rightly so. Nintendo's 3DS was designed specifically for gaming on the go, and the vast majority of its software reflects that. Meanwhile, gaming consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were built to be hooked up to a giant television screen and experienced from the comfort of one's couch with surround sound blasting.

Sure, there's some overlap, as there are plenty of smaller bite-sized games on home consoles and conversely a few larger more cinematic games on handheld, but generally speaking, the console experience offers a specific type of experience, while the handheld serves up another.

Bearing that in mind, which of the two options to you prefer? Do you find yourself more often playing your 3DS or Vita than Wii U, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4? Does the convenience of being able to take it wherever you go have you spending more time with your trusty little handheld? Perhaps you find yourself on the other side of the fence, reclining on that comfy sofa with a DualShock 4 in your hand with the lights off and the speakers cranked to eleven. Either way, we want to hear from you.

Let us know which of the two gaming experiences you prefer by voting in the poll below and/or sounding off with your two cents in the comments.
