Spencer: Some Interesting Changes in Store for E3 2015

Xbox head Phil Spencer says this year's Microsoft briefing will have “some interesting changes.” While this sounds like what's said every year by every company, 2015 may prove Spencer to be right.

Talking to fans on Twitter, Spencer discussed the event's push toward its first-party titles not only on Xbox One, but on PC as well, saying they would have “some of both.” This points to a push for Microsoft's new baby, Windows 10, and how it might impact the gaming consumer.

Microsoft has already teased Windows 10's gaming functionality, including a new Xbox interface, more opportunities for cross-platform gaming, and even a game-streaming app. Rumors about the launch date are swirling, with some being as early as July, so it makes sense that Microsoft would want to talk about… well… Microsoft at its annual briefing.

Traditionally, Microsoft kicks off the pre-E3 Monday press conferences, though this has not been formally announced.

Comrades, what do you expect from Microsoft's show this year? Let us know in the comments.
