Call of Duty: Black Ops III Gets Reveal Trailer

Activision and Treyarch released the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III this weekend, and it looks like the upcoming entry will follow the futuristic formula of last year's Advanced Warfare.

The trailer clearly highlights the importance of human augmentation in both the narrative and the mechanics of the game. For example, Black Ops III allows players to use an arm that turns into a mini-gun. Now that's the kind of future I can get behind.

The game also appears similar to Advanced Warfare in its movement options. Players can jump around the battlefield with boost abilities and run on walls with ease.

More details were revealed following the release of the trailer. Black Ops III will feature four-player online co-op for its campaign, and zombie mode makes its return in the new entry. As for competitive multiplayer, the game introduces specialists, fleshed out characters with unique weapons and abilities.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III comes out on November 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
