Assassin’s Creed Creator Unveils New Episodic Game Series

Patrice Desilets, the creator of Assassin's Creed and founder of the new development studio Panache Digital Games, has unveiled his next big project. It's an episodic action-adventure series called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.

The announcement on Panache Digital's site explains that Ancestors aims to provide an experience that allows "the player to relive the greatest moments of mankind with a documentary twist." The studio also teases: "Our civilization is one idea away from extinction… or evolution."

Here's a look at the snazzy logo.

What do you think of this new project? Are you excited by the news that it's episodic in nature? Be sure to weigh in with your thoughts in the comments as we wait to hear more from Desilets and his team later this year.
