Mad Catz to Co-Publish Rock Band 4

Mad Catz is best known for producing the plastic instruments used in the Rock Band series, but now the company will work even closer with Harmonix on the upcoming Rock Band 4.

The company revealed its role as co-publisher of Rock Band 4 earlier today. It marks the first time Mad Catz has had a direct role with the development of a Rock Band game. The team at Mad Catz will aid Harmonix with sales, promotion, and distribution.

Fans don't need to worry about the instruments in light of Mad Catz's new role with Rock Band 4. The company is still hard at work and promises it's "working so hard to improve all the controllers in so many ways."

Rock Band 4 is scheduled to come out later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
