Nintendo Wants NX to “Change Each Person’s Video Gaming Life”

Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata recently shared a few details on what fans can expect from it's recently announced console, codenamed NX. He doesn't go into specifics, but does hint it will once again aim to push the boundaries of video game entertainment.

"If you only expand upon existing hardware, it's dull," Iwata said in an interview with Nikkei, translated by Kotaku. "In some shape or form, we're always thinking about how we want to surprise players as well as our desire to change each person's video gaming life."

We still know very little about Nintendo's new video game machine, and that will likely continue to be the case until sometime next year, when the Big N formally pulls back the curtain on what exactly NX is.

In the meantime, be sure to speculate in the comments below as to what this mysterious new console may turn out to be.
