PS4 2.50 Update Will Allow You to Suspend/Resume Games [Update: Out Tomorrow]

[Update] Sony has announced the release date for its long awaited 2.50 system update for PlayStation 4 users. "Yukimura" will be available for download tomorrow, adding a slew of new features including the ability to suspend/resume games and interact easier with your friends.

[Original] A new update for PlayStation 4 users will be rolling out very soon.

Codenamed "Yukimura," this software update will allow users to suspend and resume their games at will. No waiting required. "Just pick up your DualShock 4 controller, hit the PS button and get right back into the action of your games," Sony explained in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

Update 2.50 will also allow users to upgrade a sub-account to a master account, search for Facebook friends, and even enjoy Remote and Share Play at a silky smooth 60 frames-per-second.

There's no firm release date for the update, but Sony is sure to reveal additional details soon. In the meantime let us know in the comments below what features you'd like to see added to PlayStation 4.
