Microsoft Still Committed to Phantom Dust

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has assured the Xbox community that the company is still committed to rebooting the Phantom Dust franchise, despite the recent closure of developer Darkside Games.

"You'd obviously like the first studio for a project to work out, sometimes that doesn't happen," the Microsoft exec explained in a post on Twitter, adding, "Still committed to PD."

Phantom Dust was announced at E3 last year as an Xbox One exclusive. Hopefully Microsoft finds another suitable developer for the franchise soon, as I'm sure a lot of longtime Xbox fans would love to see a remake of the cult classic.
