Xbox One Update Improves Controller Connection

Microsoft is working on an update that improves the connection speed for Xbox One controllers. As of right now, it takes nearly five seconds for players to sync their controller with the console, but a forthcoming update whittles that time down to just a couple seconds.

While the update is available now to those in the Xbox One preview program, it's expected to be made available to the general public very soon. It's worth noting, however, that if you do want to this update to take effect, you'll need to connect your controller via MicroUSB, so make sure you have one of those handy.
