Evolve PC Specs and Xbox One Pre-Purchase Bonuses Revealed

New details have emerged regarding Turtle Rock Studios' upcoming 4v1 shooter Evolve.

First off, for all you PC gamers, the required and recommended specs have been revealed. Here are the minimum:

  • INTEL CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600
  • AMD CPU: Athlon 64 X2 6400
  • SYSTEM RAM: 4GB
  • NVIDIA VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 560
  • ATI VIDEO CARD: Radeon HD 5770
  • VIDEO MEMORY: 1GB
  • HARD DRIVE: 50GB
  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit

And here are the recommended:

  • INTEL CPU: Core i7-920
  • AMD CPU: A8-3870K
  • SYSTEM RAM: 6GB
  • NVIDIA VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 670 or GTX 760
  • ATI VIDEO CARD: Radeon R9 280
  • VIDEO MEMORY: 2GB
  • HARD DRIVE: 50GB
  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Additionally, 2K Games has announced that those who pre-purchase the game on Xbox One will get access to characters right away that you'd otherwise have to unlock first. 

If you pre-purchase Evolve on Xbox One before or during the Xbox One Open Beta, you get exclusive instant access to Wraith, Parnell, Abe, Caira, and Cabot during the entire beta. Better yet, pre-purchasing on Xbox One guarantees that these characters are instantly unlocked when you pick up the final game which launches on February 10th.
