The Monopoly Go Sunken Treasures digging mini-game, starting May 23, is a shorter version of the familiar event. If you’re a veteran of the game, you’ll note that the latest versions of the treasure hunt usually has 20 milestones, like Sunset Treasures in March 2024. But this time around, there are only 16 milestones. As you might expect, this means that the overall rewards for the mini-game has been slightly lessened, but the Grand Prize still has the all-important Wild Sticker. At this point in the Making Music sticker album, we recommend using the Wild Sticker to claim any missing 5-star or even 4-star gold stickers you still need to complete the album.
As usual, the Sunken Treasures event operates the same as past treasure hunts. You’ll be given a set of puzzles where you need to dig out objects hidden beneath the ground (in this case, the sand), and completing each puzzle will give you a reward that’s on the list below. Each block on the grid can be dug up by using a pickaxe token, which are mainly earned by getting through the milestones of various tournaments and banners. The mini-game operates more or less like the Battleship board game except that you need to earn shots. Here are all of the prizes and tier rewards for the Sunken Treasures mini-game for Monopoly Go on iOS and Android.
What are the Monopoly Go Sunken Treasures milestones and tier rewards?
For the Monopoly Go Sunken Treasures event, there are only 16 grids that you’ll need to solve. The list of rewards below for solving each one has not been confirmed yet, but we’re fairly certain of the information.

- 7 x 6 Grid – 3-Star Pink Sticker Pack + Cash + Ship’s Wheel Shield Skin

- 8 x 6 Grid – 800 Free Dice Rolls + 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack
- 6 x 7 Grid – Cash

Apart from the Wild Sticker as part of the prizes, we should also highlight the Ship’s Wheel Shield Skin that looks like the helm of a pirate ship as well as an octopus board token. The various sticker packs are also nice, though there are no 5-star purple packs throughout the rewards. Unfortunately, there are no extra boosts in the list here, so if you’re looking for some High Roller, you will need to check the tournaments and banners for it.
As usual, any excess pickaxe tokens will be converted into dice at a rate of 1 token for 3 dice. So you may want to wait before the last puzzle is finished to gather as many pickaxes as possible, so that the milestones for the tokens aren’t converted into cash. However, the Wild Sticker may be important enough for you not to delay obtaining it.
There are several ways to earn extra pickaxe tokens while the Sunken Treasures event is active. You can finish the three Quick Wins objectives and claim the free gifts from the in-game shop. You might also find some by hitting some of the empty blocks on the grid, and of course there are some pickaxe tokens as part of the prizes as well. There’s also a small chance that Scopely might grace us with some free dice links that come paired with bonus pickaxe tokens. These treasure hunts tend to have a higher chance for these links, so it’s worth checking for them.
