Monopoly Go: Can You Gift Tokens for Partner Co-op Events?

Whether you can gift partner co-op event tokens in Monopoly Go is something that many players want to know. Trying to complete all four partnerships for any partners event can be difficult, especially if your co-op friend is struggling with earning tokens or if you have extra tokens that you don’t know what to do with. (At the time of writing, the Hot Rod Partners is active, but this applies to every partners event so far.) While there is no feature in the game that allows you to hand tokens to a friend directly, like sticker trading for instance, there may be a roundabout way to do it. Here’s if players can gift tokens for partner events to other players in Monopoly Go.

Is there a way to gift partners event tokens in Monopoly Go?

Yes, there is a way to gift tokens to other partners during the co-op mini-game event, but you can only do so very indirectly.

To be clear, there is no button you can press to send tokens (whether they are steering wheels, flowers, hearts, etc.) to other players. But you can give partners extra event currency by landing on the “Partner” space on the wheel for the co-op event. In this way, it’s just based on luck.

Having the wheel stop on the Partner space will automatically send a certain number of tokens to your partner, which is boosted by your current wheel multiplier. That person can then redeem them by heading to their timeline and accepting the gift from there. That said, you can no longer spin the wheel once you and your partner earn 80,000 points total. So if you want to send your partner a lot of tokens quickly, we recommend using a x20 or x30 multiplier, but if you want more consistent gifts, you can choose a lower multiplier instead.

The best method to send tokens to a partner or friend is to create an alt account and create a second partnership with that person with the intention of essentially carrying that person. This will give you 80,000 more points to work with where you have more of a chance of landing on the Partner space.
