In Enshrouded, Tin Ore is a valuable resource that unlocks crafting advancements and fuels your progress. It is a dark grey ore found in deposits around the Nomad Highlands and south and looks like small, chaotic clusters protruding from walls and rock piles. Tin Ore is crucial for progressing through the story and reaching Flame Level 5.
Where to find Tin Ore in Enshrouded
In Enshrouded, Tin Ore can be found in various locations throughout the game world. Primarily used for crafting Tin Bars at the Smelter. Three Tin Bars combine with Copper Bars to create Bronze Bars. Bronze Bars unlock numerous crafting recipes such as weapons, armor, tools, and Alchemical ingredients. Here are some key locations where you can find Tin Ore:
- The Mining Rift: Located west of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire, this area boasts the largest deposit of Tin Ore. However, it’s also crawling with enemies and shrouded, so be prepared for a fight!
- Shroud Root Cave: Directly north of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire, this cave offers a decent amount of Tin Ore with less danger. You’ll need to clear the Shroud Root first, but once you do, you can revisit for more every few hours.
- Umber Hollow Crack: In the western part of Umber Hollow, you’ll find a small crack in the ground containing Tin Ore. It’s a safe spot to farm, but the yield is smaller compared to the other two locations.
Before farming for Tin Ore Upgrade your Pickaxe. A higher mining damage stat significantly speeds up your collection. Also, bring Stamina Regeneration materials. Mining depletes stamina, so use honey, potions, or other consumables to keep going. and lastly, place a Flame Altar near the deposit, this allows quick respawn and refreshes the ore after logging out.
The Mining Rift might be challenging for lower-level players. Consider the Shroud Root Cave or Umber Hollow initially. Umber Hollow requires more travel compared to the other two options. Consider crafting a Flame Altar for quick access.
