Warframe iOS Cross-save

Warframe iPhone: How To Enable Cross-Save & Link Accounts to Apple ID

Warframe is now available on iPhone with full cross-save support. However, while PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players can now link their accounts to iOS and their Apple ID, it can be a confusing process. Thankfully, this guide will help players successfully link their accounts and enable cross-save on Warframe mobile.

Players can link their existing Warframe primary account from PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch by following these steps:

  • Download Warframe from the Apple App Store.
  • Log in using an Apple ID.
    • Users have to follow and create a username after logging in using their Apple ID. This is just a temporary issue and this Apple ID will eventually be merged into one’s PC/Console account.
  • Visit Warframe.com and log in to the primary PC/Console account.
  • Upon login, players should click on their username in the top right corner of the display.
  • Link the desired accounts.
    • The website will prompt players to enable cross-save by linking other accounts as the first option under the username.
    • Select the option and head over to the account linking page with all the platforms listed neatly.
    • Select Apple ID and once the page redirects to Apple’s login page, do not autofill the username and password. Instead, select the “other Apple ID option and manually enter the credentials. This is to prevent a login loop bug on the official website.
  • Merge existing save data into a primary account.
    • Players are given the choice to select one primary account (PC/Console) while the progress from the Apple ID is merged into the primary account. This is a permanent change and players should carefully select the primary account for cross-saving.
  • Restart Warframe mobile to see that cross-save has been enabled.
