Helldivers 2 How to Beat Bile Spewer

Helldivers 2: How to Beat Bile Spewers

Bile Spewers are one of the most annoying enemies in Helldivers 2. They’re tanky, relatively common on Medium and higher difficulties, and their acid is pretty much guaranteed to kill you in one shot if it hits you straight on. Fortunately, Bile Spewers are relatively easy to fight once you know their weaknesses.

How to kill Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2

The key tactic to follow when fighting Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2 is to never stand directly in front of one. These bugs aren’t too quick and they’re slow turners. However, once you’re hit with their acid, it’s pretty much over, even in armor with Extra Padding.

Unlike many of the larger bugs, the Bile Spewers aren’t particularly well armored. So, you can turn their acid attack against them. If they get too close, bait them into spraying their acid and then dive to one side. During their acid attack Bile Spewers stay stationary, so you can attack their weakspot, the head, easily.

Many of the support weapons will kill these bugs instantly. The Anti-Material rifle or any rocket will take them out quickly with a headshot. So, it’s good practice to keep one of these on you when playing at Medium difficulty or above. Alternatively, Impact Grenades also do a number on Bile Spewers, so make sure to equip them once they’re unlocked.

Once you’ve made it partway through the progression system, you can unlock a new way to dodge Bile Spewers, the Jump Pack. A quick thrust into the air will easily clear the bug’s acid attack, and you can land nearby and take it out at your leisure.

In Helldivers 2, your chances of living will increase greatly if you know and use the Bile Spewers’ weaknesses. As long as you stay mobile, use strong weapons, and add advanced gear like the Jump Pack, these formidable enemies will become manageable problems on your way to victory. When you master these strategies, tough situations become chances to show off your skills and practical knowledge.
