Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Unlock Jobs: How to Change Job Classes

You’ll make it quite a way into Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth before you unlock jobs. Job classes change a party member’s stats, main weapon, and abilities, but you won’t be able to assign them a new one for a while. You’ll have to make it around a third of the way through the story before you’re finally introduced to this gameplay system.

When do jobs unlock in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth?

You’ll unlock jobs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth in Chapter 5: Suspicious Minds. I didn’t reach this point in my playthrough until around the 20-hour mark. However, if you’re not completing a ton of side content along the way, you can make it here in 10-15 hours.

After visiting the orphanage, Kasuga and the gang decide to take a break and check out some uniquely Hawaiian experiences. Chitose suggests they visit the nearby Alo-Happy Tours! Agency to get pointed in the right direction. When you get near, you’ll trigger Substory 31: Let’s Get Alo-Happy!, which unlocks job classes and the first group of jobs. From this point on, you can change jobs at any Alo-Happy kiosk or the main office.

What jobs are unlocked by each tour?

Just because you unlock the ability to change jobs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth doesn’t mean you instantly gain access to all of them. You’ll have to acquire each job by taking a tour at Alo-Happy, but there’s a catch. None of the tours tell you which job they unlock. Their descriptions give you a hint, but you’ll only know for sure once you’ve already paid the fee.
