How to get the acid lab in GTA Online
In GTA Online, the Acid Lab is a way to cook up some virtual chemistry and earn cash. Here’s how you can get your hands on this mobile meth lab:
First Dose Missions
After updating the game, you’ll receive a call from Ron Jakowski informing you of new gang activity in Sandy Shores. Accept Ron’s call to trigger the first mission, “Welcome to the Troupe.” Complete the following “First Dose” Dax contact missions:
- Welcome to the Troupe
- Designated Driver
- Fatal Incursion
- Uncontrolled Substance
- Make War not Love
- Off the Rails (steal the Brickade 6×6 during this mission)
Steal the Lab Equipment
After completing the First Dose missions, go to the Freak Shop. Speak to Mutt and receive a prompt to find a nearby warehouse to steal Acid Lab equipment. Check your map for three yellow squares with smiley faces; these are warehouse locations. Choose one warehouse and eliminate enemies inside. Use a forklift to load three pallets of equipment onto a flatbed truck. Drive the truck back to the Freak Shop, dealing with enemies if necessary.
Speak With Mutt
Once the equipment is delivered, speak with Mutt at the Freak Shop. Pay the GTA$750,000 fee to install the lab equipment (free for GTA+ or Premium Edition owners).

Complete ten Fooligan Jobs to unlock equipment upgrades from Dax. Request Fooligan Jobs from Dax:
- Crop Dustin’
- Write-Off
- Liquid Assets
- Working Remotely
- Heavy Metal
Purchase equipment upgrades for $250,000 from Mutt at the workbench.
Manage the Acid Lab
Talk to Mutt or call him from your phone contacts to request supplies for the Acid Lab. Supplies cost GTA$60,000 each, and you’ll need to resupply three times for a full stock. Upgrading the equipment will increase sale value.
Earning Money
Run the Acid Lab as a business, gathering supplies and selling products. Upgrade equipment and manage supplies for maximum profits. You can run the Acid Lab independently or in conjunction with other businesses.
