The Monopoly Go Builders Bash is a new boost that will be added to the daily event schedule. At the time of this writing, we don’t know when the Builders Bash (or Builder Bash) will appear, but it should be soon. This boost has been somewhat detailed by developer Scopely on what it will do. It looks like that there is a lot of potential for boost combos by combining Builder Bash with Wheel Boost, Landmark Rush, and Board Rush. Here’s everything we know so far about the Builders Bash event for Monopoly Go on iOS and Android.

What is the Monopoly Go Builders Bash boost?

The Builders Bash boost for Monopoly Go reduces the cost for upgrading landmarks during a limited time.

At the moment, we don’t know how long the Builders Bash will generally last. We hope that it is at least 30 minutes long so that it can combine well with the Wheel Boost for extra spins. Scopely has noted that this boost can be combined with Board Rush and Landmark Rush so that you can get extra cash and dice rolls.

Veteran players, particularly those with an in-game Net Worth of over 20,000, will find the Builders Bash boost to be extremely useful, since the board costs at that level are extremely high. It’s so high in fact that it’s hard to get enough cash to make the Wheel Boost relevant.

Scopely has reduced the board coasts before in past updates to make it less difficult to get through each level. There were rumors that the developer would do this again in a future patch, but with this Builders Bash, we will likely not see a general reduction of board costs.

The point of the boost is to make it faster for all players to get through boards, but our recommendation of saving cash specifically for Wheel Boosts remains the same. In fact, you may want to save money until there’s a Wheel Boost, Landmark Rush, Builders Bash, and Sticker Boom that you can trigger at the same time. A standard 30-minute Wheel Boost without any of these extra bonuses will no longer be as enticing to use.
