Learning how to farm BP in the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk DLC is essential if you want to experience everything the game has to offer. Some of the DLC’s prominent features require you to spend a ton of BP, meaning you’ll want to earn it fast. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done.
How to farm BP in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk DLC
Unfortunately, the speed at which you can farm BP in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet heavily depends on whether you’re playing solo or multiplayer. Solo players will find it much harder to get BP quickly because multiplayer-exclusive tasks can net you between 300 and 600 BP apiece. However, the method for farming BP remains the same in both modes.
The trick to farming BP in Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk is that you can pay half the BP a quest would reward to change it to a new one.
For example:
If you get a quest that’ll take a few minutes, like “Defeat 10 Pokemon using Auto Battle” that rewards 20 BP, you can pay 10 BP to change it to something less time-consuming like “Take a photo of a Wild Pokemon that is swimming” for 30 BP. Doing so will net you 20 BP, and it’s worth taking the 10 BP hit since the replacement task only took around a tenth of the time.
Additionally, every 10 regular quests you complete unlocks a bonus quest, which rewards more BP than normal. So, if you’re farming BP solo, your objective should be to complete 10 regular quests as quickly as possible, finish the bonus quest, and repeat.
The catch that makes farming BP in multiplayer much quicker is that you get a Union Circle exclusive quest each time you finish three bonus quests. These are worth around 600 BP and can be as simple as just catching a Pokemon.
Of course, you can cheat the system as a solo player if you have two Switches and another copy of Scarlet or Violet with the DLC. Use your extra Switch to form a Union Circle group with your main save, and you can earn the multiplayer exclusive quests by yourself.
