There are numerous Monopoly Go tips and tricks that will make sure you always have a high amount of dice in your bank. I started playing the game around October 2023 and knew practically nothing about the game, but now I have more than 40,000 dice, won several tournaments, and completed sticker albums far ahead of time. Monopoly Go may look like a simple game where you can auto-roll dice, but there are a lot of strategies that you can use to make it easier and ensure you never run out of dice. Even if you choose to utilize some cheats and exploits along the way, understanding the following tips and tricks for Monopoly Go will serve you well in the long run.

Here is quick list of the best tips, tricks, and strategies for Monopoly Go that I endorse using to maintain a healthy amount of dice rolls and complete events:
- Claim free gifts immediately – Free gifts in the Shop don’t reset their 8-hour countdown clock until you claim them. Also note that free gifts and Quick Wins also provide extra event currency on occasion, like Peg-E tokens and pickaxes for the treasure mini-game.
- Keep landmarks page empty – Don’t build any landmarks until you have enough money to complete the board (or several boards). This will prevent people from performing shutdowns on your landmarks. If you look at the price to upgrade the first landmark on the left and multiply it by 100, that will be the amount of money you need to complete the entire board.
- Wait for Wheel Boost or Sticker Boom before building – Gaining extra dice and stickers without any additional effort is amazing. Look at various sites and community Discords for the game to find out the upcoming schedule of boosts, and time things right so that you take advantage of every Wheel Boost and Sticker Boom event (Landmark Boost and Board Rush are alright too). You can also wait for these boosts to appear before claiming sticker packs as milestones and rewards in events.
- Keep friends that won’t bankrupt you – Players on your friends list will naturally target you and steal money through bank heists when landing on railroad spaces. Some players will steal frequently or have a high multiplier, so you may want to prune those particular players from your friends list if you see that their heists completely drain you of your money.
- Use trading communities for sticker trades – There are several Discord communities dedicated to trading and have reputation systems to ensure that people don’t steal your stickers. The new Safe Trading feature should take care of these concerns, but being a part of these communities does make it easier and faster to find traders (as well as partners during Partner Events).
- Take advantage of High Roller events – Once you have enough dice banked, High Roller events will allow you to roll with a x1000 multiplier. If you position yourself on the board correctly (this means targeting a tile and waiting until you’re 6-8 spaces away), you can have a high chance of landing on a space that gives you a lot of event points.
- [Update] Look for Free Parking Dice x2 events – Check for FPD events that award twice the amount of dice (or more) for landing on certain spaces, like corners and tax/utility tiles. If you use High Roller boosts, and land on them with a x1000 multiplier, you’ll get a huge amount of bonus dice once you hit Free Parking.
- Hunt for free dice links – Developer Scopely tends to give out daily codes for free dice links. We have compiled an updated list for December 2023 here, but we’ll post new guides that will come out every month if you want the latest links.
We should also mention some cheats like the airplane mode hack. Scopely tends to crack down on exploits and cheats like this, updating the game so that these are patched out. There are still some cheats out there, but fair warning that this can get you banned or ruin your save file if you aren’t careful. There are also many YouTube and Tiktok videos claiming that you can get thousands of free dice, but none of them really work so definitely watch out for them.
