Lethal Company offers two teleportation devices, the Teleporter and the Inverse Teleporter to help you navigate limited resources and lurking dangers. However, they differ in their purpose and risks.
Lethal Company’s Teleporter vs Inverse Teleporter
Lethal Company’s teleporter and inverse teleporter offer players different ways to navigate the facilities and save their crewmates. Here’s a breakdown of their differences and how to use them effectively:
Teleporter
- Cost: 375 credits
- Functionality: Teleports a crewmate back to the ship from anywhere inside or outside the facility.
- How to use: A crewmate needs to be monitoring the screen on the ship and highlight the desired player. The crewmate inside the facility presses the red button on the desk on the ship.
- Pros: It saves crewmates from danger (including death, with some exceptions). Teleporters are useful for clutch saves and rescuing downed teammates. It is reliable and less risky than the Inverse Teleporter.
- Cons: Teleporter leaves crewmates’ items behind upon teleportation. It requires another crewmate to operate on the ship.
Inverse Teleporter
- Cost: 425 credits
- Functionality: Teleports players to a random location inside the facility.
- How to use: Stand inside the yellow teleporter device on the ship. Press the yellow button on the desk.
- Pros: Inverse Teleporter offers a quick way to access the facility and bypass exploration. They add excitement and a high-risk element to the gameplay.
- Cons: It is highly risky due to unpredictable teleport locations, potentially landing you in danger. It can lead to death or getting trapped in inaccessible areas. It doesn’t transfer items with the player, leaving them empty-handed. It is not recommended for solo players due to potential isolation and lack of support.
