How to move stuff in Lethal Company

Moving furniture and other items in Lethal Company is easy to do, but it’s not immediately clear how it works. Here’s a quick guide on how to move stuff around your ship:

Using Keyboard and Mouse

  1. Walk up to the item you want to move.
  2. Press the B key to pick it up.
  3. You can now move the item around.
  4. To place the item, press the B key again.
  5. To rotate the item, press the R key while holding it.

Using a Controller

  1. Walk up to the item you want to move.
  2. On an Xbox controller, press the X button to pick it up.
    • X again to place.
    • B to send to storage.
  3. On a PlayStation controller, press the Triangle button to pick it up.
    • Triangle again to place.
    • Circle to send to storage.
  4. On a Nintendo Switch Pro controller, press the Y button to pick it up.
    • Y again to place.
    • B to send to storage.

Moving items to and from storage

  1. Go to the Access Terminal.
  2. Type “storage” and press Enter.
  3. To withdraw an item, type its name and press Enter.
  4. To store an item, pick it up and press the X button.
