Persona 5 Tactica Best Skills Abilities List P5T

Persona 5 Tactica Best Skills: What Are The Strongest Abilities?

The Persona 5 Tactica best skills can be narrowed down to about twenty. There are a lot of Personas to choose from and each Phantom Thief has their own Persona as well, so figuring out the strongest abilities in the game can be tough. But once you get a hang of the grid-based combat system, the most powerful skills soon become apparent. There are only a handful of abilities you’ll want your Personas to inherit during fusion, since you can only choose one. Here’s a quick list of the best Persona skills in P5T for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

What are the Persona 5 Tactica best skills?

The following is a breakdown of the best skills and abilities in Persona 5 Tactica and an explanation of why they’re worth keeping:

  • Media / Mediarama / Mediarahan – Being able to heal every party member at any position on the board is amazing. Diamrita does get an honorable mention for curing status ailments, but for pure healing, Media spells are pretty much the only ones you need for the entire game.
  • Bufu / Bufula / Bufudyne – Ice magic is one of the most powerful elemental spells because of the Freeze status effect. Out of all of the ailments, this completely stops enemies from moving for a turn. The tactical options against a frozen enemy are numerous.
  • Tarukaja / Matarukaja – Let’s be honest here; the best status effect on an enemy is death. Dealing more damage is always good no matter the situation. Given that your characters will regain SP when hiding in cover, a quick cast of these two -kaja abilities (and other -kaja spells) is rarely a bad idea.
  • Sustaining Relief – This extends -kaja abilities by 2 additional turns so that you can sustain them more easily.
  • Energized Spirit / Invigorated Soul / Divine Mind / Triumphant Cheer – Many missions and bosses call for reinforcements that are meant to sap your party’s SP. These two passive abilities ensure that your SP pool remains healthy throughout the fight.
  • Endless Fighting Spirit / Rising Vigor – These two passive abilities let your party deal more damage so long as their health is above a certain percentage. That’s not hard to do with Media spells, which means these abilities are just free damage.
  • Brightening Star / Heavenly Gift – More Voltage means more damage and more free actions if you use the right special ability.
  • Treasure Hunter / Easy Money – Where XP is relatively easy to farm, it’s harder to keep up with the expense of summoning Personas and buying weapons.
  • Torrent of Magic – This passive ability from Lucifer continually increases the amount of damage inflicted by magic. ‘Nuff said.

Some characters already have some of these abilities, which is why those party members rank high on the tier list. Paired with these extra skills, they will be able to make it through pretty much any battle without breaking a sweat.

That said, you’ll want to make sure that you emphasize magic abilities and SP recovery in every character’s skill tree. This will give you more than enough resources to continue casting high-damage spells throughout the game.
