The MW3 Zombies Mercenary Convoy is an enemy you need to find in order to complete the Act 1 Tier 2 main mission called Interceptor. However, the game isn’t clear on what this convoy is or where to find it. Fortunately, the location for this convoy isn’t too difficult to find, but we recommend that you complete a few missions first so you can upgrade your weapons since the enemies guarding this transport will be at a higher level. You’re going to need the extra firepower once you locate the convoy and destroy it. Here’s where to find the Mercenary Convoy in Zombies mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Where to find MW3 Zombies Mercenary Convoy
The Mercenary Convoy will spawn around the double-ring highway that encircles the map and will always appear as a group of three trucks.
If you’re lucky, you will get a transmission when you enter the zone with an alert hat a Mercenary Convoy is on its way. You can look at the tactical map to see whether the convoy has spawned, which by the way seems to move in a counter-clockwise path around the highway. There are other vehicles that loop around as well, so make sure that you don’t confuse this convoy with, say, a single armored truck.
To complete the Tier 2 objective, you will need to destroy the vehicles in the convoy and defeat any enemies that appear alongside them. We recommend using a vehicle of your own to reach the target. Once they are attacked, they should slow down so that you can get a good shot. These are mercenaries instead of zombies, though, so be careful with your approach and coordinate well with a squad while finding any cover you can.
Once the convoy is eliminated, you will find the Mercenary Stronghold Keycard. Fortunately, if you happen to miss this, it will still be labeled on the map for you to pick up later.
