MW3: How To Fix Daily & Weekly Challenges Not Working or Tracking

While many players have been very enthusiastic about the MW3 release, some of them are currently also annoyed at the glitches and bugs being encountered in the game here and there. One of these is daily and weekly challenges not working and tracking like they should in Modern Warfare 3.

How to fix MW3 Daily and Weekly Challenges not working ‘bug’

There are a number of reasons why Daily and Weekly challenges in MW3 aren’t tracking for players, but the main issue is that many players are using old MW2 weapons to complete the challenges when it’s required that MW3 weapons are used to complete them.

Some players are reportedly trying to use MW2 weapons and items to complete MW3 daily and weekly challenges which might be causing the tasks to not be completed, causing a loss of points for players. With this in mind, make sure you’re only using weapons for Modern Warfare 3 when you’re completing challenges.

Daily and weekly challenges are an integral part of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. These challenges present players with rewards for accomplishing specific tasks on a daily or weekly basis. Based on previous installments, these can range from achieving a designated number of kills with a particular weapon to finishing a specific game mode with a set score. The rewards for completing these challenges encompass experience points, in-game currency, and various items that aid players in advancing through the game.

But of course, none of these challenges matter if the challenges aren’t actually tracking. If you switch to MW3 weapons and find that the problem still persists, check your server status. Taking a look at the servers will give you a better idea of whether the game is undergoing any maintenance which could be causing the glitch to occur.
