There are 18 retro games you can play in Like a Dragon Gaiden, split between arcade and Sega Master System titles. Some of them are easy to find, but the locations of others are much more obscure. Fortunately, we’ve got the answers you need to locate every retro game available.
Like a Gaiden Gaiden retro game list and locations
There are 6 arcade games in Like a Dragon Gaiden and 12 Sega Master System titles. You can find a list of all of them below:
Arcade Games
Each of the six arcade games can be found in both arcades in Sotenbori. That means they’re accessible as early as the beginning of Chapter 1. Here’s a list of the arcade titles available:
- Fighting Vipers 2
- Motor Raid
- Sega Racing Classic 2
- Sonic the Fighters
- UFO Catcher
- Virtua Fighter 2.1
Playing all six of these will reward you with the Arcade Dweller trophy/achievement.
Sega Master System Games
When you arrive at the Daidoji Hideout at the start of Chapter 3, you’ll be able to find a Master System. There are four games included with it from the beginning:
- Fantasy Zone
- Maze Hunter 3-D
- Penguin Land
- Secret Command
You can find an additional eight games in these locations:
- Alex Kidd Miracle World
- Location: Look on top of the umbrella in front of the Gambling Hall in Castle Central Street.
- Alien Syndrome
- Location: It’s located in Locker F1. You can find the key in the entrance of the Daidoji Hideout.
- Enduro Racer
- Location: You’ll find this game in Locker I4. The key is stuck in a tree on the path that runs south of the Sotenbori River. You can grab it with your Spider Gadget.
- Fantasy Zone II
- Location: This title is in Locker F4. Head to the south side of the Gambling Hall and look for the key stuck between it and another building.
- Flicky
- Location: Look for this one on top of an umbrella along the path north of the Sotenbori River.
- Galaxy Force
- Location: Head to Ebisu Pawn Sotenboi and buy this one for ¥5,500.
- Global Defense
- Location: This game is for sale in the Castle Gambling Hall for 2,500 pts.
- Quartet
- Location: Visit the Castle Casino and buy this title for 2,500 chips.
If you play 5 Master System games, you’ll get the Retro Game trophy/achievement, but you’ll need all 12 to complete the Akame Network Activity Log.
