Monopoly Go Golden Blitz: How to Trade Gold Stickers and Cards During Event

The new Monopoly Go Golden Blitz event has popped up certain regions that many players are excited to see. This event allows select players to trade gold cards or stickers with others. Since duplicate gold cards are effectively pointless in the current version of the game, this new feature represents some hope that they will finally have a use in the trading economy of the game. Here’s what we know so far about the Golden Blitz event in Monopoly Go for Android and iOS, and how to access the feature if you don’t have access to it.

What is the Monopoly Go Golden Blitz event?

The Golden Blitz event is a feature that allows players to trade two specific gold cards with others, but at the time of writing, this is limited to Spain and other regions.

More Guides

According to users on the Monopoly Go Reddit, Spain and South America are the only regions that have Golden Blitz enabled and only some of players in those regions have access to it. Also, only the Discovery and Happy Trading gold cards can be used for trading. Yes, this is limited, but if developer Scopely finds that there’s healthy trade activity using just these two cards, then opening this up to more gold cards would seem like the next logical step.

How to access Monopoly GO Golden Blitz event

The only way to access the Golden Blitz event at the moment if you’re not in Spain or South America is to use a VPN.

There are many VPN apps and services you can use with your phone. Whichever you choose, select either Spain or a South American country to gain potential access to the event. Again, you’ll need to be lucky as well, since it looks like only a limited number of users in those regions are a part of the event.
