My Hero Ultra Rumble Starter Pack: Is It Worth Buying?

The My Hero Ultra Rumble starter pack is an expensive purchase at $29.99, so many fans are asking whether it’s really worth buying. This starter pack is available for all platforms, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. (We must note that the Switch version of the Starter Park looks like it’s $49.95 through the EU Nintendo Store.) Unlike other packs in comparable free-to-play games, this starter pack will only be available for a limited time, specifically until October 30, 3 pm PDT. Here’s whether the starter pack is worth getting for MHUR.

Is the My Hero Ultra Rumble starter pack worth buying?

No, the starter pack is not worth it, since most of its contents can be collected just by playing the game and getting through the free battle pass and seasonal mission events.

The only exception here is whether you really want the exclusive U.A. High School Jersey skins for Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraka, in addition to the Tenya Iida “I’m okay” and Katsuki Bakugo “Ready for action” gestures. Since there are no other ways to get these cosmetic items, this pack may be worth the value for you.

More Guides

As for its main contents, the pack comes with 400 roll tickets, which equates to 40 pulls (since 10 tickets amounts to 1 pull), and includes the Season 1 Pro Hero License. However, the free battle pass along with the hero crystals that you can obtain by completing all of the missions in the seasonal event will get you the currency you need to obtain a Pro License. If you’ve already gotten the Pro License this way, then the Starter Pack won’t give you anything extra, like any compensation for obtaining the Pro License a second time.
