Mortal Kombat 1 Titan Battle: What are Titan Battles in MK1?

A Mortal Kombat 1 Titan Battle sounds climactic, especially the importance they are given in the latter half of its story-based campaign. Completing one will also unlock the “The Mighty Have Fallen” trophy or achievement. So what are MK1 Titan Battles and when are they coming to the game?

What are MK1 Titan Battles?

Titan Battles appear to be a seasonal mini-event for Mortal Kombat 1, as the first one has started on October 27. This has brought Insatiable Baraka to the game. It is an endgame-level fight that has a ton of health and different phases. Going off the name, he grows a few feet after the second phase and has a new slate of attacks that are sometimes difficult to evade and block.

To beat the Titans in Mortal Kombat 1, it is advised to use a high-level talisman to get the job done (which can be equipped by pressing Triangle on PlayStation or Y on Xbox). Some of these, like the Windbreaker talisman, can deal a ton of damage in one go, which is crucial for these spongey enemies. Fighting them the old fashioned way is not advised.

The first fight against Insatiable Baraka yields a new skin that is an alternate color of the one from the first season of Kombat League, its ranked mode. It can be found in the Invasions hub screen through a new mesa in the bottom right.

Warner Bros. Support spoke about these before launch, but was relatively vague. The company stated that Titan Battles will be “added in a future update” and players should keep an eye out on the Mortal Kombat social channels for more updates regarding their release date and time.
