The RE4 remake Bug Buster locations are going to be a lot easier with the Biosensor Scope and a rifle. It not only take down Regenedores, but it can let you see camouflaged Novistadors, too. The Biosensor Scope is in Gregorio’s Waterway near the water valve that is needed to progress and finish the Lord of the Waterway side mission.

The first bug is right after you climb the ladder and flip the yellow switch. This will cause the mashers to start smashing the ground. The bug is on the ceiling between the two mashers by the yellow switch. Be careful not to get crushed.

The second bug is after the final set of smashers. As you ascend the steps, be sure to check the ceiling. It is hard to see, but it is right above you about halfway through the staircase.

The final bug location for the first Bug Buster mission in Separate Ways is up a few flights of stairs. Continue on until you get to a ladder (that may or may not be by a red barrel). Once you get to that, turn around and look to the castle walls. You should see the bug on the side.
Do not move on until you have killed these bugs. You can climb the ladder, but do not grapple away. Grappling will keep you from backtracking and finishing this side mission.

The Bug Buster 2 bug locations in the the Defensive Line area of RE4 Separate Ways are also a little troublesome to pinpoint. You will also have to contest with some turrets and stronger enemies.

The first bug in the second Bug Buster mission is extremely close to the merchant. It’s right near the paper for this mission and the vista where you can use your I.R.I.S. sensor to scope out the area. But instead of looking with your fancy eyewear, look to your left alongside the rocky wall. It’ll be hanging out near you close to the gap in the fence.

You can find the second bug right after you grapple to escape the first round of turrets. Kill the handful of enemies in front of you. After they are dead, use a scope to look at one of the metal towers above you to the right. It’ll be hanging on one of them.

The final hidden bug in RE4 is hard at first because you have to do it quickly before the turret sees you (you can also do it after you blow it up, too). Go near the small bridge where you have to run across to avoid turret fire, but don’t run across just yet. Duck behind the boxes near the railing and aim near the bunker that is keeping an eye on the bridge. The bug is just to the left of it on the mountain.
Once you kill all the bugs, go to the merchant for your reward.
