Diablo 4 Oculus Wand Bug Fix Stuck in Ground

Diablo 4 Oculus Wand Bug: How to Fix Getting Stuck in the Ground

A Diablo 4 Oculus wand bug is trapping players in the ground, but we’ve got a fix for this if this happens to you. The Oculus wand is one of seven new unique items that was brought with the controversial patch 1.1. This sorcerer weapon gives the Teleport enchantment for free, but it teleports the player to a random location when it’s used. This has unfortunately led to the glitch of transporting the character into the ground, effectively getting stuck and trapped beneath the floor of the world map. Fortunately, we’ve got some solutions you can try to fix the issue with the Oculus unique in Diablo 4.

How to fix Diablo 4 Oculus wand bug

Here are some solutions that you can use to fix the Oculus wand bug:

  • Try using a town portal – If possible, you may be able to use the town portal to go back to the major capital of your region. Of course, if this works for you, don’t take the town portal back.
  • Use a waypoint – Similar to the first solution, it may also be possible to open the map and select a nearby waypoint to get out of being stuck.
  • Leave the dungeon – If you can stuck in a dungeon, you might be able to open the map and click on the dungeon entrance icon to teleport out.
  • Log in and out of the game session – Worst case scenario, you’ll have to leave the game session and head back in. If that doesn’t fix the issue, you may need to quit the game entirely.

Otherwise, you may want to put the Oculus wand in the stash for now until Blizzard is able to address this glitch. Either that, or you may want to make sure that you don’t the wand in places that have steep elevation changes, though that’s a lot to consider during exploration.

The Oculus wand has already been called a joke, particularly given the nerfs of patch 1.1 already targeting sorcerers a lot. It’s likely better to get a different wand altogether that provides skill points to the Teleport skill if you really want it for free.
