Diablo 4 Travelers Superstition Traveler's Riddle Solution

Diablo 4 Traveler’s Superstition: How to Solve ‘Pay Your Respects’ Riddle

The Diablo 4 Traveler’s Superstition quest asks players to solve a riddle that has you “pay your respects” to a particular statue. The solution is similar to many other side quests that has you figure out what emote the game is asking your character to perform. You also need to perform the emote in the proper location in Hawezar, so it can be tough to figure out. It’s also somewhat difficult to work out how to trigger the side quest in the first place. That said, here’s what you need to do to complete the tricky Traveler’s Superstition quest in Diablo 4.

How to solve Diablo 4 Traveler’s Superstition riddle

The solution to the Traveler’s Superstition quest is to use the “Hello” emote in front of the female statue in Bosun’s Woe.

To trigger this side quest in the first place, you need to finish the majority of Act 5. The statue you need to find is located in the Bosun’s Woe area of Hawezar that is along the eastern coastline in the far northern area above the waypoint in Blackwater. In this area, you’ll find a Hastily Scrawled Note next to some weighted stones.

Interacting with it, the following message will pop up: “Pay your respects to her, and she will see you safely on your way. Ignore her, and suffer the fate of these poor fools.”

Nearby, you’ll find a feminine statue that was likely used as a part of a ship’s bow around some corpses. If you select the “Hello” emote, which is on the emote wheel by default (you can change emotes out using the “customize” option), in front of the figure, it will complete the side quest. A treasure chest will pop up and opening it will reward you with some XP, renown, and gold.
