Diablo 4 Guulrahn Canals Bug Fix: How to Kill Enemies Remaining

A frequent Diablo 4 Guulrahn Canals bug is stopping players from finishing the dungeon. The issue stems from the dungeon not having enough enemies for players to complete the “kill all enemies” objective. Despite searching every nook and cranny of the canals, there’s sometimes anywhere from one to twelve enemies missing. This means that Nightmare Dungeons that take place in the Guulrahn Canals can become impossible to complete, having players waste a Nightmare Sigil on them. There are fortunately several solutions you can try to solve this issue and kill all the enemies in the Guulrahn Canals dungeon.

How to fix Guulrahn Canals bug

Here are some workarounds and solutions to fix the Guulrahn Canals dungeon glitch:

  • Check all of the chests – Speedrunners going through Nightmare Dungeons for XP may skip chests in their runthrough. However, some chests can hide enemies, like a bunch of spiders, so make sure you open every chest.
  • Wait a few minutes – Sometimes enemy mobs don’t spawn correctly at the right time. But if you wait a bit, there’s a small possibility that the enemies will appear in due time.
  • Exit dungeon, complete nearby cellar dungeon, and return – If you leave the dungeon and spend a few minutes doing the cellar dungeon nearby before heading back in, the enemies you need to kill might appear. Don’t spend too long outside of the dungeon or it may reset. Just a few minutes is all you need.

That said, this Guulrahn Canals dungeon bug has been a persistent problem. Many users have reported this issue since the game’s launch, but Blizzard has yet to address the problem with a specific hotfix or patch. It’s to the point that we recommend not using a Nightmare Sigil that points to this dungeon and salvaging it as sigil powder.

Diablo 4 has other unaddressed bugs like the gore-soaked barricade and the missing sodden growth. Hopefully, Blizzard will be able to fix these bugs before the start of Season 1.
