The Exoprimal Street Fighter 6 crossover release date has been revealed by Capcom. The Exoprimal x Street Fighter 6 collab was teased during the 2023 Summer Game Fest, with a short trailer that showed off a mech version of Ryu and Guile flying down to the ground and fighting against the dinosaurs. But now, in a presentation hosted by Director Takuro Hiraoka, Capcom is ready to show when the Exoprimal SF6 event will occur in the game’s upcoming roadmap. Here’s when the SF6 Ryu and Guile DLC is coming to Exoprimal for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass.
What is the Exoprimal Street Fighter 6 release date?
The Exoprimal Street Fighter 6 release date is mid-October 2023.
Capcom originally revealed that the Exoprimal SF6 crossover would be slated for Fall 2023, but the Exoprimal Showcase on July 10 has narrowed that release window down to the month. It’s still unclear what day in October this collaboration will happen, but the developer will most likely reveal the exact release date and time a few weeks before October.
The Exoprimal SF6 event will concur with Season 2 with a new title update for replayability. Season 2 will also come with a new map and Final Mission, in addition to rigs and modules that will augment all of the exosuits.
The initial teaser trailer for the collaboration showed the Leviathan AI in charge of bringing mercenaries to the game’s Bikitoa Island looking at a mech version of Ryu. This is a bit of a throwback to Mech Zangief, a robot created by Shadaloo to fight Zangief. The trailer revealed that Mech Ryu can fire hadoukens and use assault rifles against the dinosaur horde.
It also showed off Mech Guile in his signature blue jumpsuit from SF6, soaring down from the sky and landing on the ground. We can only imagine that he’ll have Sonic Booms and Flash Kicks to deal with the dino invasion.
