Diablo 4 Blacksmith My Bags Are Full Bug Glitch

Diablo 4 Blacksmith “My Bags Are Full” Bug Fix: How to Stop “Can’t Carry Anymore” Glitch

A persistent Diablo 4 blacksmith “my bags are full” bug is frustrating some players. For some reason, approaching the blacksmith in any town in Sanctuary will occasionally cause a voiceline error where the player character responds that their bags are full, that they can’t carry anymore, or that their burden is too great. It’s a minor nuisance, but having it happen all of the time can get irritating to say the least. Restarting the game, which usually works for most bugs like this, unfortunately doesn’t seem to help. Luckily, we’re got a few workarounds and solutions you can try to fix this glitch in Diablo 4.

How to fix Diablo 4 blacksmith “my bags are full” bug

The following is a number of ways to fix the annoying “my bags are full” dialogue when approaching the blacksmith:

  • Check your materials – It’s possible that one of your resources, typically something common like rawhide leather or iron ore, is actually maxed out. The max for a resource may not be obvious. If you have too much of any particular resource, you can refine them at the alchemist to reduce your load.
  • Change to a different World Tier – Some users on the official Diablo 4 forums state that this bug may occur mainly during World Tier 4 (currently the hardest difficulty). Changing the overall difficulty to something else may get rid of this error.
  • Travel to another town and return – To get either of the solutions above to work, you may need to travel to different town for a bit and then come back. This might get rid of the dialogue prompt.

Worse case scenario, if this blacksmith error continues to occur, you can head to the in-game settings. Under the Sound tab, scroll down to the last option called “Player Audio on Error”. If you turn this completely off, then you won’t hear the character’s dialogue message at all.

Of course that will turn off other audio message prompts, so you may not want to select this option. But if this bug is bothering you too much, it may be worth turning it off anyway.
