Diablo 4 Vyeresz Stronghold Bug Dungeon Open Serpent's Eye Door

Diablo 4 Vyeresz Stronghold Bug Fix: How to Open the Serpent’s Eye Door

A Diablo 4 Vyeresz Stronghold bug is preventing many players from finishing the dungeon. The culprit is usually the “Open the Serpent’s Eye Door” objective, which doesn’t clear despite the door being clearly open. This unfortunately blocks the next objective from appearing, making the boss not spawn and the dungeon impossible to clear. Fortunately, many players have experienced the same problem with this bugged dungeon, so there are several solutions that you can try to fix the glitch. Here’s how to complete the Vyeresz Stronghold dungeon and complete the serpent’s eye door.

How to fix the Diablo 4 Vyeresz Stronghold dungeon bug

The main way to fix the Diablo 4 Vyeresz Stronghold dungeon bug and get past the serpent’s door objective is to repeat the dungeon and make sure that the eye in the middle is the last one that you destroy.

This particular bug can impact all players, but it has particularly affected those on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. We’re not sure why the order matters when it comes to destroying the eyes in this dungeon, but we’ll chalk it to up to yet another strange dungeon bug in the game. Unfortunately, if you have a Nightmare Sigil for this dungeon and you don’t know about this issue, it will likely be wasted.

There may also be a problem with some of the hut roofs not turning transparent, making it difficult to click on some of the necessary items needed to trigger the next step in the quest.

To redo the dungeon, you can head out of the dungeon and wait about ten minutes while exploring other side quests to reset it. Otherwise, you can also head out of the dungeon and then log out and back into the game.

A lot of dungeons in Diablo 4 are sadly bugged. Hopefully, Blizzard will take some time to create a patch or hotfix that focuses on repairing all of the glitches that are forcing players to redo dungeons and wasting Nightmare Sigils.
