Diablo 4 Reject the Mother Bug Quest Red Wall Glitch

Diablo 4 Reject the Mother Bug Fix: How to Get Past Red Wall Glitch

A strange Diablo 4 Reject the Mother bug, which can occur on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, is making players unable to complete this side quest due to a red wall glitch. This Reject the Mother side quest can be accepted in the Tusmaa Rift area of the Dry Steppes region. But if you only partially complete this mission, it’s possible that a red wall forms around the quest area. Notably, the bridge leading into the area is blocked off. Fortunately, there is a solution you can try that will fix this quest glitch, though it might take some time before this workaround can happen.

How to fix Reject the Mother red wall bug

To fix the red wall glitch for the Reject the Mother quest, you need to complete the main mission far enough for the wall to disappear. This should happen by the end of Act III, though it’s possible that you may need to complete the main campaign before it comes down.

Once you’re able to access the quest, completing it isn’t very difficult. All you need to do is head to the summoning circle near the entrance of the Dark Ravine and select the “No” emote. This will reward you with The Heretic’s Cache that will appear near the shrine.

At any rate, it’s most likely the main quest that causing the red wall to appear. This side quest can also be interrupted in many ways, be it logging offline, getting separated from a friend’s party in the middle of the quest, or just deciding to do something else in the meantime.

Sadly, restarting the side quest, relogging into the game, or teleporting to a different area of the map doesn’t help fix anything. This bug has been reported by users on both the Diablo 4 Reddit and official forums on Blizzard for a while at this point (much like other bugs), but the developer has yet to fix the problem or make a statement addressing this glitch.
