Xbox Series S Carbon Black Pre-Order Preorder Details

Xbox Series S Carbon Black Pre-Order Details: Release Date & Price

The Xbox Series S Carbon Black console will be available for pre-order today, June 11. This new black Xbox Series S console was announced earlier today near the end of the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase, revealing that it will have the same general color scheme as its more powerful brother, the Xbox Series X. The console will be ready to launch on September 1, 2023, but you’ll be able to pre-purchase it soon and get your name on an order before supplies run out. Here’s how to pre-order the Xbox Series S Carbon Black console.

Xbox Series S Carbon Black pre-order guide and price

The Xbox Series S Carbon Black can be pre-ordered for $349.99. According to the latest post on the official Xbox Wire blog, the console will be available later today, June 11.

From what we can tell from the post, it will be available for pre-order directly from the Xbox.com website and/or the Microsoft Store, though it doesn’t go into detail about the exact time you’ll be able to score an order. That’s frustrating to say the least, but we recommend refreshing the search page for the Xbox Series S until the Carbon Black version appears.

The blog post also notes that it will reveal more information on where to get the Xbox Series S Carbon Black console “in the weeks to come” as far as retailers are concerned. We expect that outlets that already offer the Xbox Series S for sale will be updated with a way to pre-order the Carbon Black version of the console. Sites like Amazon may simply update its current entry for the Xbox Series S or have a separate entry specifically for pre-order purposes in the coming weeks.

While the console will be available worldwide on September 1, it looks like pre-ordering it will come at different times depending on the region. It’s also unclear if the Carbon Black console will automatically come with the 1 TB storage, or if you can choose to purchase a standard white version of the Xbox Series S with the larger hard drive.
