Street Fighter 6 World Tour Luke Defeat Beat Chapter 1

Street Fighter 6 World Tour: Can You Beat Luke in Chapter 1?

In Street Fighter 6 World Tour, Luke will challenge your custom character and Bosch to a match at the end of Chapter 1. You’re not really supposed to be able to beat him, but it’s technically possible. As your teacher at his security training site, he has you go out into Beat Square at Metro City for some practical training. His friend Alice then has you spar with low-level NPCs roaming around the area to get your bearings and learn how the new Modern controls work before Luke appears to challenge you. Here’s whether it’s possible to beat him and what happens if you do.

Can you beat Luke in Chapter 1 in World Tour?

Yes, you can beat Luke at the end of Chapter 1 in World Tour, but it doesn’t change much as far as the story concerned.

It’s not impossible to defeat Luke in the early game, especially if you’re good at the game or if you match his skill at Level 10 by sparring enough in Beat Square. You might also get lucky with Bosch hitting Luke from behind while you flank him on the opposite side. Either way, your combined strength can take your coach down.

But even if you do beat him, the cutscene that follows isn’t altered in any way. Both your avatar and Bosch fall to one knee exhausted after the fight with Luke praising you for your courage but noting that you’ve got a long way to go. We checked the gallery for World Tour cutscenes after finishing the mode, so we can verify that there’s no alternate cutscene after this battle with Luke.

And in truth, as a legendary fighter, Luke is barely working up a sweat fighting you and Bosch anyway in Chapter 1. When you earn enough style EXP to max out his master style, you can fight him at his full strength where he’s above Level 50.
