Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Spotting Spot Horse Location

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Spotting Spot: Where Is Lester’s Horse Location?

The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Spotting Spot side quest can be found quite early in the game, but the location of where Spot is hiding can be tough to work out if you don’t know where to look. To receive this quest in TotK, you will have needed to complete a portion of the Regional Phenomena quests in the main story and already repaired the mini stable for Lester at Lookout Landing in The Incomplete Stable side quest. Once it’s been built, Lester will then ask Link to find one of his horses than have run away called Spot. Here’s the coordinates for where you can tame Spot in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where is Spot’s location in Spotting Spot quest?

Spot is located close to coordinates -0331, -0042, 0023, which is slightly southwest of Lookout Landing.

As Spot is one of the unique horses in the game, you’ll be able to find him by his unusual coat. He has a white coat and gray dappling, though during the night the horse can look like he has a gray coat with black dappling.

In order to complete the quest, you’ll need to crouch down and stealth toward him in the grass. You’re going to need the stamina to tame Spot and perhaps a few stealth elixirs or armor to sneak up to him successfully. If you’re a skilled player, though, you might need any of these to tame him.

Once you’re mounted the horse, it’s just a quick jaunt back to Lester where you can finish the quest. Link will be rewarded with 50 rupees, a swift carrot, and Spot, in case you want to register him in the stable. We recommend that you do as he is one of only a handful of unique horses and he’s got above-average stats that will serve Link well in the early game.
