The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Floating Coliseum, otherwise known as the Floating Colosseum, is the location of a difficult boss challenge. We’ve got the coordinates of this arena in The Depths, but there are several ways to reach the coliseum depending on which lightroots you have unlocked. The Floating Coliseum features an entirely optional series of fights. If you’re able to defeat them, though, you’ll earn the coveted Majora’s Mask helmet that is sure to be something completionists will want to finish off their collection. Here’s how to reach the Floating Coliseum in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
What is the Floating Coliseum location and coordinates?
The coordinates of the Floating Coliseum location is -1551, -1263, -0499.
You can reach the coliseum in several ways. You can head to the Mu-ustust Lightroot and head northeast from there, or you can go to the Nogukoyk Lightroot and go in a northwestern direction. If you don’t have the Nogukoyk Lightroot in your list of locations yet, you can head to the Great Plateau North Chasm located at coordinates -0708, -1551, -0517.
Either way, The Floating Coliseum sits in the middle of a lake. If you choose to head there from the Mu-ustust Lightroot, you can simply head east toward the hill and climb it. Alternatively, from the Nogukyok Lightroot, you can head north and then west toward the lake.
From there, you can travel around the lake to the front entrance of the coliseum along the northern side. If Link has enough stamina or stamina-restoring foods, you can just go across the lake and climb the wall. Otherwise, you can build a craft at the Zonai Device workstation nearby and create a flying craft that can soar above the arena for you to drop in.
We recommend that you’re well prepared before you land in the Flying Coliseum as Link will need to defeat five Lynels that can deal a lot of extra gloom damage, which you can hopefully prevent with gloom-resistant armor. The last Lynel in particular has armor that you’ll need to dismantle piece by piece. For some cover, the Zonai Devices around the arena can block arrow attacks from the Lynels.
