Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Skyward Sword Outfit: How to Get the Hero of the Sky Set

You can get the Skyward Sword outfit in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Just like in Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you can equip Link with the Hero of the Sky set, but it’s harder to get than other in-game outfits. We’ll walk you through how to unlock the set in Tears of the Kingdom below.

How to get the Skyward Sword outfit in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You can get the Hero of the Sky set using the Skyward Sword Link amiibo. Use your Nintendo Switch’s NFC scanner on the amiibo to unlock the outfit.

However, scanning the amiibo will only give you a 10-20% chance of receiving one of these three pieces of the Hero of the Sky set:

  • Cap of the Sky
  • Tunic of the Sky
  • Trousers of the Sky

The amiibo can only be scanned once a day, so it may take some time to complete the whole set. This means you may want to use a workaround to use amiibos multiple times a day.

Each piece of armor has a defense stat of 3 and can be improved to 20 using the Great Fairies.

Once you’ve acquired the Hero of the Sky set, follow this guide to get Link’s horse Epona.
