Honkai Star Rail Rarely Affectionate Part 2

Honkai: Star Rail Rarely Affectionate Part 2: What Choices Should I Make? Clara or Svarog?

The Honkai: Star Rail Rarely Affectionate Part 2 quest has players make an important story-based choice between Clara and Svarog. There are some spoilers here of course, so we must warn you about the SPOILER ALERT ahead. But we imagine that if you’re reading this guide, you want to know which person to side with and whether or not your choices here will impact the storyline or future quests down the line. To cut right to the chase, the answer is yes. So here’s some information to help you make your decision.

Should you choose Clara or Svarog in Honkai: Star Rail Rarely Affectionate Part 2?

The choice you make between Clara and Svarog in Honkai: Star Rail Rarely Affectionate Part 2 should be based on your ethical preference, since they will not impact the items you receive by the end of the questline. But they will impact how the story unfolds.

Near the end of Part 2 of the quest, Svarog and Clara will disagree on what to do with the robot Pascal and if it should be reintegrated with the base network. Svarog believes the robot should be effectively reset at the potential cost of its newfound intelligence. Siding with Svarog gives you the “For a Breath I Tarry” achievement and leads to the Wish You Were Here questline after the server resets in the game.

On the flipside, Clara believes she can fix Pascal over time by installing a program on the robot that will prevent its corrupted data from taking over, but this could mean wiping the robot’s memory anyway. Siding with Clara instead gives you the “The Lifecycle of Software Objects” achievement and leads to the No One is Answering quest after the server reset.

Your choice will impact the dialogue and cutscenes, as well as the outcome of Pascal. While siding with Clara or Svarog technically leads to different quests, you’ll still be able to receive the “Flower Made From Scrap Iron” item after completing either quest. And Clara will still join your party regardless of your decision.

So essentially, you’ll just need to weigh both sides and base your choice on whether you think Clara is being too naive, if Svarog is being too heartless, and if you think Pascal can really be repaired in the long run instead of merely suffering from being constantly rebooted.
